We start with locally grown Winter Wheat, Light Rye, Red River Valley Potato, and White Corn. Each is handcrafted by one of our Distiller Partners, some of the finest craft distillers in the Midwest. It’s then artfully blended like a fine whiskey by our Co-founder and Master Blender, Chris Montana.

American Liquor Co. brought together ingredients that don’t usually mingle (wheat, rye, potato, and corn) and people you won’t usually find in the same room (craft distillers) to reimagine vodka. Unlike other vodkas, ours is blended like a fine whiskey. Clean and pure but more complex in taste, aroma, and mouthfeel than most vodkas. The rich Midwestern terroir yields a spirit so tasteful, it has become the vodka of whiskey lovers.

Distilling is really interesting to me. I love the science of it, I love that we actually make something. What we produce goes into a bottle, goes onto a shelf, and goes into someone’s home.
If you’re going to make a quality vodka, that’s just vodka, like American Liquor Co., there’s no room for error. And nobody makes vodka from corn, potato, rye, and wheat. Why? Because it’s damn hard to do. But that’s all the reason to do it.
All of our distillers have to be on their game all of the time. And then we blend these 4 different ingredients—distilled by the best of the best—to create something that is genuinely unique. It’s tough, but who doesn’t like a challenge?
